Kanoa and Keola’s Travels
Note: We have been so busy that we haven’t had time to give you an update on where we have been, where we are going and the work we’ve done. However, most of them have been closed functions and not open to the public. This is a weak attempt at best, to update our travels. Clearly, not all inclusive.

Aug 2007 08: Meeting with Principal of Wheeler Elementary School to discuss possible future presentation.
Sep 2007 12: Attended WheelerElementary School’s “Aloha Week Program” and met with the Principal.
Oct 2007 29: Presentation to DOE Teleschools Coordinators 30: Presentation to Intensive Learning Center (ILC) Central District personnel.
Nov 2007 26: Presentation at Slack Key Workshop in Waipi’o Valley, Big Island
Dec 2007 14: Presentation to Central District DOE, Primary Intervention/ Prevention Project personnel (elementary school level) 17: Presentation to WheelerElementary School 22-30: Cultural exchange trip to Tahiti
Jan 2008 09: Presentation to DOE Central District PSAP group 14-20: Sea water Cleanse (personal for Keola & me) 29-30: Attended NHEA Forum, US DOE
Feb 2008 05-10: Attended Conference on “Learning and the Brain” with DOE HI contingency · Met with a group of Native Canadian Indians (6) and shared our healing methods. They we very appreciative and later invited us to Canada to share with their people. They just want us to choose a date. We have yet to do so.
Mar 2008 04: Radio interview on the John Roland Show about Hawaiian Healing and the up coming “Total Well Being Expo” 08-09: Key Note Speaker at the “Total Well Being Expo” at the Hawaii Convention Center, Honolulu, Hawaii. 15: Attended “Ohana Day” with Kaipo Kaneakua, one of the most renouned healers I know. A day for reflection. Did a short presentation to his haumana. 19: TV/Radio Interview on the “Tiny Tadani Show”; Topic: Hawaiian Healing. 22: Resubmitted proposal to present at the 8th Annual “Association for Conflict Resolution” in Austin, Texas. Someone from their organization (that had an experience of our work) thought we should present. 26: Meeting with Kupuna Kekuni Blaisdlell. Very inspirational for us!! 29-30: Participated in Psychic Fair at Sacred Fire in Kona.
Apr 2008 14: Meeting with Principal of Solomon Elementary, for possible Presentation to staff 15: Presentation at MagicIsland to Kaipo’s Haumana. Topic: Overcomming fears. 16: Presentation at Kahuku Hospital, to group of concerned citizens from Ko’olauloa. 28: Presentation on Pain Control; KahukuHospital
May 2008 02: Presentation to SolomonElementary School teachers and staff. 13: Presentation to Japanese Tourist Magazine with film crew. They came to Hau’ula. 14: Presentation to Windward District PSAP Representatives at King Intermediate in Kaneohe. 16: Presentation to Honolulu District PSAP Representatives at Mariners Cove in Hawaii Kai. 21: (Morning) Attended Central District Primary Prevention/ Intervention (PPI)-PSAP, End of Year Training; Presentation by State Presenters, Topic: “The Bully Free Classroom” Met PSAP Coordinator for Leeward District. 21: (Evening) Co-sponsored Ohana Night with Ko’olauloa Community Health Center and others at QLCC, Windward District. Topic: Creating a comprehensive drug treatment and re-habilitation center for Ko’olauloa.
Jun 2008 12-13: Presentation at State SBBH Conference, Waikiki Sheraton. (both days) 28-29: Participating in Pu’uhonua Honaunau Celebration, on the Big Island. (our 5th year) We are doing Hawaiian healing and it’s open to the public. E komo mai.
